I am going to have to give up all hope that our nation will be anything but a 2nd class nation when I see the absolute lunacy being displayed at our highest levels of government.

The remarks by Sen. Klobuchar during Kagan's Supreme Court hearing blew my mind. Can the Senator actually be taken seriously when she asks Ms. Kagan who would win the case in the Twilight Trilogy's third movie? The Vampire or the Werewolf.

It's as if Kagan has been rubber stamped and they're just going through the motions. They are making a mockery of our legislative and judicial branches of government.

Oh and let's not forget Sen. Franken's remark to Sotomayor about Perry Mason. I'm ashamed to say I live in Minnesota. How did two freshman to our Senate get on these committees?

I don't think there will be a shovel large enough to scoop up the mess this administration will have left for us once power has been restored to those who believe that America is the best nation on Earth. A nation built upon solid principles that have stood the test for over two hundred years.

One more item to bring to the forefront is this silly notion that employees will be better served by giving the unions access to employees' voting records. Who runs our nations companies? The people who worked hard to build private industry or the labor unions and politicians who exist purely to cater to their own twisted concerns? And where does a chunk of the union dues go? To the party that continues to give them everything they want. That would be the Democratic Party for anyone who hasn't taken the time to get informed.

Unions are a thing of the past. With an employment attorney around every corner waiting for an employer to mistreat an employee there is no longer a need for a union to be the caretaker of an employee's welfare.

Unions are like Government. Once you create the monster you must feed it to keep it alive. But once it figures out that you won't let it die no matter what it asks for at meal time it begins to ask for more...and more.

When has government ever stayed within a budget or produced something of value? By forcing a socialist agenda upon a capitalistic economy we destroy the pursuit of happiness which is a right that is sadly being stripped from our nations people.

"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."

Wow, such emotion! You do realize that the Left doesn't take kindly to being confronted with the truth. When addressing people who believe that gingerbread houses and money trees are real you need to slip into your baby talk mode.

I had a liberal neighbor who told me that all his rights had been taken away under the Bush Administration. I asked him which ones and he didn't have an answer. I then asked him in a voice I thought he could understand, "What did the big bad man and his monsters take from you? He started to cry. O.K., he didn't cry but he didn't find it amusing. He got my point.

I love to play with liberals. They get their marching orders from the American hating liberal media outlets and never look at both sides of the story. Ask anyone of them to take an argument beyond talking points and sound bytes and they get angry and walk away. God I admire their passion but pity them for their ignorance.

The insanity that comes from Congressional Liberals boggles the mind. Too much LSD in the 60's I think. It would be funny if it wasn't our tax dollars that they play with like Monopoly money.

I don't believe in the theory that given enough time a monkey could write the entire works of Shakespeare.
